Z Grills is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers or wood pellet grills. This is a special type of grilling and smoking technology that repurposes wood shavings left over from hardwood processing, to feed the fire. The wood shavings are bound with all-natural lignin, which is another byproduct of wood processing, to give you a clean, flavorful smoke with superior heat control.

The ZPG-L6002E Wood Pellet Grill is one of the larger and more successful models in the Z Grills line. It has a cart base with two easy to move wheels and two very stable feet. It also includes a small shelf for holding spices, beverages, and assorted grill tools.

The Z GRILLS ZPG-L6002E also has a rust-resistant lid made from commercial grade stainless steel. As is the side table that covers the digital control center. On the other side of the primary smoking chamber, there is another side table that folds down. It’s a handy space saver for when you’re not using the wood pellet grill, yet it ensures that you have two tables to keep prep and serving platters safely separated.

The Z GRILLS 2020 Model ZPG-L6002E has a 10-pound capacity wood pellet hopper, which is just big enough to handle pretty much any normal smoking session. Yet not so large as to make the grill cumbersome.

When you activate the grill via the digital control center, and internal auger precisely delivers a steady stream of wood pellet to the internal firepot. An electric element ensures a reliable start-up every time. Once the fire has been fully established a small internal fan provides it with the oxygen it needs to maintain steady combustion.

The fan also replicates an indirect heating convection effect. The smoke and heat then rise up into the primary cooking chamber, with it’s 600 square inch grill grates. The grates have been specially coated with nonstick porcelain to help them release meat easily. It also makes for quick cleanup when you scrape things down after grilling.

Of course, this isn’t the only thing that makes the Z GRILLS 2020 Model ZPG-L6002E easy to clean. The lower portion of the primary cooking chamber was engineered to divert rendered grease and other drippings into a collection cup that conveniently located under the grill body.

Construction & Ease of Assembly

Z Grills hangs their hat on producing high-quality wood pellet grills with robust materials and sound engineering principles at a cost that is a fraction of the nearest competitors.
